I would like to have an MP 40 if I could afford it and the ammo for it. Some of the WW2 zinc ammo would be great too.

I've shot a MP40 and it was nice. It would take a lot of practice to be able to do 3 round bursts. It had a fast cycle rate. A heavy and well-built firearm.
