Just watched a Jimmy Swaggart re-run...july 1983 madison square garden.

That dude could pack a church n preach a sermon.


And hes still preaching but not many in the pews.

Not busted once - but TWICE for soliciting a prostitute. Second time, when confronted his response was "The Lord to me it's flat none of your business"

Yea I remember the first time. My Dad was a Big Jimmy Swaggart fan and I couldn't wait to break the news to him. All he done was remind me of reading about a man that was made after God's Own Heart that had committed adultery and murder. I think I learned something that day that I shall never forget.

Blood cousins run deep.....and they said Jerry Lee did wrong by marrying his young cousin. Mickey Gilley is one of my all time favorite country music singers....so what's the problem??

I found this searching for false prophets: I think it applies to Mr. Swaggart.

And many false prophets will appear and deceive many, (Matthew 24:11 NET)

Is he a false prophet or fallen pastor? Do we forgive n forget or just forgive and disregard?


Im kinda leaning towards a guy who has learned how to preach but has no credibility.

Or maybe a scam artist.

Or

Maybe its just between him n God.....
