Back in the day, before Dawn, my doctor said to use grandma's lye soap after exposure.
I still have several bars of it under the bathroom sink to use if I know that evil weed has attacked me, and it seems to work.
If we see it at some craft shows, etc, I'll pick up a bar.
One of the advertised "cures" is poison ivy. I don't think it cures anything, but it's good soap to wash off the oil.

Thanks for this. Just ordered some WHP product. I've been trying different things over the years. So far when trail running I haven't had any issues with poison ivy. Not sure if it's because I avoid it like the plague or the products I use.. I've mainly been using the poison ivy prevention from Eric's pharmacy in Shawnee, picking it up when I'm down that way.
