picking up pieces to do a retro build, anyone use the lowers & uppers from http://www.nodakspud.com/AR%20Lowers.htm
I LOVE for an AR15 to look the way it is supposed to look. I just traded off my flat top receiver off my 9mm for a 69-71 Colt A1 upper receiver with rocketman, who has a few nearly perfect builds.
My A1 receiver will go on a 10.5" like a 607A. I don't have short triangles for it yet, so I guess it is more 609 until I do.
The SP1 slickside receiver that is on my Blackout upper will go on the 9mm, like a 635. I keep an eye open for another one that is priced reasonably to build a DOE upper for it too.
The Blackout gets a new A1 with a brass deflector that I ordered from DPMS.
My pretend 603 still needs me to turn down the heavy barrel that lives on it to a pencil barrel contour.
Oh, ANYWAY, rocketman's 603 had a Nodak Spud lower. Perfect. My buddy Mark in AZ has several, and loves them too.

I have an original Colt 604 upper and all original parts in near perfect condition. Right now it's installed on a regular RRA lower, but it would be really sweet on a correct "partial fence" lower. I probably won't get around to it myself... too many other irons in the fire... but I'm not above selling it to someone else who might...

I have a line on a black nodak 603 m16/a1 upper with pencil barrel, they make a full fence black lower to match it too. Don't think I can wait on grey, interested in your upper if you decide to let it go
FYI, mine is not just the upper... it has the original full auto BCG, buffer setup, and all the lower parts except the auto sear. And of course all the furniture.
well that makes it more interesting sorry for the mis nomer, my FIL would get a kick out of it, he carried one on gaurd duty in Tiland flying the pre awacs. theres one in the airforce museum in Dayton http://www.nationalmuseum.af.mil/factsheets/factsheet.asp?id=328
I'd prolly want $1200 for the whole rifle. As for trades, I'm in the market for a Gen 4 Glock 19. Also I'm always interested in quality modern ARs and good optics.
