Suppressing a Kel-Tec 9mm carbine?

A friend suggested I look into this as a home defense option. I like suppressors - I have hearing damage already and the thought of it getting worse is unappealing. Can't find anyone online who's done it. What does everyone think? Where could I get the barrel threaded?

If you're talking about the Sub2000, I've seen them threaded online. However, doing so unless using creative means, will result in not being able to "latch" them in the folded position, as the latch is the front sight, and there is not enough barrel in front of the sight to thread.

Ahhhh. I see that now looking at a picture. Must be why no one does it.
