Here's my two. Top is a Uberti 1847 Colt Walker with an R&D conversion cylinder for .45Colt. Bottom is a Springfield that I bought this morning.

Ol' Samuel and John M. were some pretty smart folks.

Here's a photo of the Walker in action. Some folks on another forum found this photo offensive and disturbing, so I'll say right off the bat I was shooting in the general direction of a remote controlled camera on a tripod.
No people, cameras or tripods were harmed in the making of this photo.

I picked her up last week, but yet to shoot it. Feels great in my hand. It's my first 1911.

Kimber Ultra CDP ii

Crappy cell pic that I just took last night.

Not sure why this pic is so large, I resized it in PB before I even posted it. It's not this big in PB, either.

Great taste! I have the same one! This is my sencond CDP, the first one I had was a Compact CDP which had the same frame but the barrel was an inch longer.

Both of them were/are awesome shooters and very mild recoil for their size.

Here was my first CDP.

That looks nice with the darker grips, much nicer than stock. I was surprised by the recoil as well, I've got about 100 rounds in split across 2 sessions of about 50 rounds each and my hand felt great each time.

I have learned one thing from shooting it, though, I need some serious work on my handgun accuracy. I could hollow out a dime that's laying on the surface of the moon with a rifle, but couldn't hit an orange if it were balanced on the tip of my handgun barrel. Possibly a slight exaggeration on both accounts, but you can smell what I'm stepping in.
