J/K I use a small sharp tip for the aggressive and a round medium tip for the more mild flavor.
Got bored over the weekend and got crazy with the Krylon. This is the first pass of the camo, which lays down the base. A 2nd pass will be done to add in more of the details like grass and leaves, ect. I may need to bust out the old airbrush for some of the finer details. Just depends on how detailed I want to get on a $80 rifle...

I think that is a pretty sweet looking little scout rifle you got there.
The rear sight assembly assembly is held on with 2 steel pins and a dovetail rail. Some are welded onto the rail. If you knock out the the two pins, you can simply knock the assembly off the 3/8" (11mm) dovetail rail. If it's soldered on, you'll either have to heat the assembly or just beat the crap out of it until the solder breaks.
The 3/8" (11mm) rail accepts any 3.8" rings that you would use on .22lr rifle or pellet guns. I used medium height rings and attached them so the base of where the rings clamps onto the dovetail rail lines up above where the original pin holes are located. Using a drill and the pin holes as a guide, I "notched" the base of the rings and reinserted the original steel pins that were used to hold the rear sight assembly in place. This keeps the rings and the scope from creeping forward from the recoil.

Dude, good job on the stipple. My only question is what happened to that Kahr CW9 slide? it looks like someone took some sandpaper fine grit to that or a buffing wheel to shine it up! Is that what happened. I know that does not look stock matte stainless.
Yeah somebody tried to polish it. I got it used and that's my only gripe about it.
When I get done spending money on getting my 3-gun setup perfect, I'm gonna have the slide Cerakoted black or a dark gray.

We can spray it at my house. I have everything to do it and it won't take long. We could also just give it a good blasting with glass beads or alox and see how it looks, assuming it is SS.
