I have all sorts of fun heritages including Kraut, Mick, Limey, Injun, and Scot. None of these words offend me. Nor does "cracker".
Think of "Jap" as an abbreviation like "Amer" or "Ger" or "Brit". No one gets offended at 303 Brit.

Nice rifle...making me jealous!!

Unlike the other abbreviations, "Jap" is not an acceptable one, regardless of what you think or you want others to think. Period. End of discussion.

Go to a street-ball game in Atlanta - see how you feel when you get referred to as "cracker" ....

thats definately last ditch
They get even more crude. The last ones had a sling made of rope with a hole drilled through the stock. The lower band had no sling loop so the rope was tied around the barrel and stock. Also the JAPANESE developed a barrel that the bolt could lock into eliminating the need of a strong reciever so they could make them out of cast. The "rope holes" and cast recievers(navy) are highly prized.

Is it a capture or surrender? And how does it shoot?
The mum has two strikes through it so you could call it surrender. Shoots very good. I havent got to run it through yet but it hit everything I aimed at within 75 yrds. I may take it out this evening and try a box of my reloads through it and see how it groups.
