So I enjoy liquor and I enjoy vodka. I'm 30 years old and have been drinking for 11 years, LOL. I recently was introduced to flavored vodka, primarily coconut... Yeah, I know, laugh.

The reason I started this thread and a poll is to have you guys try this cheap DELICIOUS vodka! I've always been against cheap liquor but I have located the absolute, best, cheap, vodka EVAR! Everyone laughs at me when I tell them this, until they try it and are amazed.

Burnett's cocunt vodka. It cost $7-8 dollars and is delish chilled. I want some of you guys to try it and report back.

If you like"economical" priced vodka try Altai...MAN-OH-MAN, it's very good.

When I lived in Houston, I worked with quite a few Russian scientist and they liked their vodka.

One time at a dinner party at one of my coworker/friend's home, they made a traditional Russian dinner. Caviar, borsch soup, some sort of dumplings, and other food. Vodka..very much so!! On the dinning room table there were 4-5 bottles of vodka in crystal bowls filled with ice and garnishments to eat while drinking vodka..pickles, radishes, and some other items.

I started to walk toward the vodka in the dinning room and was suddenly stopped.

"Mr.Cohiba, that is flavored vodka (they pronounce it..vot-ka), that is for the women".

In the living room we have the men's vodka (with garnishments..you take a small chilled glass, shoot it like tequila, and pop in the small pickle or radish or caviar/cracker to follow) in the living room."

Well, after a few shots of vodka, I enquired about flavored vodka. My buddy told me traditional Russian men drinl only non-flavored. Except one...and dang it I can't remember the name..but traditionally only hunters drank that flavored vodka before and after the hunt.

Anyway, I fell in love with the cheapie...one of the Russians brought Altai. The others kinda laughed and had fond smiles of mother Russia when he opened the bottle.

Daaaa#n..it was good!! Siberian wheat and Siberian water...pure and simple...and good.

Later that night one of my buddies asked me if I liked Altai. I told him I thought it was very good and he made a slight smile and a quiet laugh. I asked him, why the smirk about Altai.

My buddy: "How do you say this?" "It's like, your...hmmmm...your Coors here in America." "Only the...how do I say...down and out drink that stuff." And he laughed and smiled.

Flavored or not..if it's good...drink it!!

If you get the chance, try Altai!!!

Soonerborn beat me to it. I got a massive bottle of svedka for $10. I had never tried it but I couldn't pass up the bargain. At room temp it's good, chilled and it's almost like water.

I don't know how anyone drinks flavored anything or with any amount of sugar. I'm just never right the next day.

hmmm interesting, im not a drinker, but I do make my own vanilla and I get tired of paying 35-40 per bottle... I will try some of the less expensive brands in a smaller batch and see how that turns out.
