I have dehydrated hamburger rocks & ready to put them in my new vacuum sealer bags. How long will stuff store in the bags? I have oxidizer packets, do I need to use them also? If so, I have an unopened bag of 50, how fast do I need to reseal the bag to keep them good? Does that extend the shelf life of my food stores & by how long?

I have rocks stored up in both jars and bags... the average storage time I have seen has been around 2 or 3 years ( but we use it up before that time ) I always put an O2 absorber in everything I vac seal... can't hurt. when I open a bag of O2 absorbers, what ever I have left over will go into a jar and then I vac seal the jar.... use a wide moth jar though... makes it easier to get out when you need them. hope that helps.
