I did a search, but didn't find this story, so I'll post it. Young lady in Washington (state) kills a cougar that was following her brother.

Apparently, they have killed a number of cougars recently. Either there is an overpopulation of them or something is driving them to seek out prey on farms and ranches.

I remember the story a year or two back about the guy who killed a cougar that attacked his dog while they were camping.

When I first read the title. I thought, "what grade did the cougar teach?"

Washington rednecks are the real deal. Some of the toughest, meanest looking folk I've ever run acrost. You rarely see a fatty. Wiry motherfawkers with joints behind their ears in battered old 3/4 tons. They outlawed hunting cougars. They have lost their fear of humans and it doesn't take long for them to consider humans as prey.

Numerous people have been killed and mauled in komifonika since they outlawed hunting cougars in that state.

It didn't say .243 it said .234.

You are correct a .243 is plenty.
