I used to have one of those cable doo-dads on my laptop case; I found that it liked to periodically unscrew itself. That's not so bad if the only thing it's holding is an ID tag, but I'd hate to drop my AR because of it. I thought about dropping a bit of solder in the end, but not before the cable wore in two, so I don't know how well it would've worked.

Good advice, I did use a couple of small pliers to tighten the heck out of it, but I may go back and put some Red Loctite. And maybe double them up? Thanks!

Here is a good way to attach the Vtac Sling or any sling with a snap hook to the back of a AR with adjustable stock. Gaberiel42 sent me some photos of different ways and one of his suggestion had something like this in the photo below. So off to Lowes and town today, and found these at the Key Making Station at Lowes. They work awesome on the Magpul Sliding Stocks on my AR's. And they are less than $2 apiece. I am really liking the adjustability of the Vtac Slings.

I stuck one of these on my boolet flinger

and I have one of these for single point.
