FWIW this is the first I've seen at this range, but remember Deer season is rapidly approaching and the crazies will be hitting the range soon to "Sight In" their trusted deer slayer.

We put on a public sight-in day at our range prior to deer season. It's very controlled, but some of the guns/ammo that show up are scary.
One guy last year showed up with some .270 reloads that had the shoulder pushed back so far that it was noticeable to the naked eye. He wasn't allowed to shoot.

Nah man, He's building one of the Ghost Guns. He can't build the whole gun at one time, so he's starting with the sights!

It's called instinctive shooting.. Archers do it all the time. Of course when I do instinctive rifle shooting it is from the hip.
