I will give 'ole Ace 1/2 of an internet point though. His troll thread got to 5 pages and the usual OSA comedy crew came through and made it entertaining.
TEHRAN, Iran (AP) Iran's supreme leader said Thursday that a letter from Republican lawmakers warning that any nuclear deal could be scrapped by the next U.S. president is a sign of "disintegration" in Washington.
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei called the letter a sign of "the collapse of political ethics and the U.S. system's internal disintegration," according to the official IRNA news agency. It was the first reaction to the letter by Khamenei, who has the final say over all major policies.
Khamenei said states typically remain loyal to their commitments even if governments change, " but American senators officially announced the commitment will be null and void after this government leaves office. Isn't this the ultimate degree of the collapse of political ethics and the U.S. system's internal disintegration?"
The only thing that matters is the truth. The truth is that those people - the Iranians in power - cannot be negotiated with, believed, trusted, bargained with, kowtowed, threatened, or forced into any solution not of their own making whatsoever. That truth makes me wonder what consolation or capitulation Obama is offering them... What collusion is he engaged in... How much of our country is he placing on the table...
The only thing that will stop the Iranians in power is death. The only thing that will stop Obama is expulsion from office. Neither Obama nor any president of this country is either a supreme or autonomous ruler with the power to establish treaties or formulate other matters of diplomacy. All of that must be done in concert with the Senate. The Senate is not wrong in expressing its opinion in such matters. The Senate basically told those in power in Iran that whatever Obama promises them is devoid of force and effect without Senate approval.
I think it is about time the Senate stood up and tied a leash around our rogue president.

Someday people will understand that if nuclear power is good enough for us, it's good enough for them. Same with nuclear weapons.
Only thru treaties have we stopped proliferation of weapons thus far. It's not the job of the Senate to trifle in the negotiating process. The President negotiates and if the Senate don't like it, then they don't have to ratify it. But sending letters and mudding up the process is a chickenshit move.
Iran will have nuclear power and most likely nuclear weapons in the future. All the GOP did was teach the Dems a new lesson in how low to go when playing partisan politics.
What will it say when Likud get's their ass handed to them on Tuesday?
That Israelis think even less of asinine Netanyahu/Republican stunts than Americans do?
How do you figure that? Don't Israelis know what's good for them?
