Gawd Almighty, that has to be the biggest adrenalin rush on the planet to fly one of those birds. I can only imagine what it would be like.

We had three pilots in training shoot at our last match in Ponca from Enid.
I shamelessly begged like a school girl to get a ride in one of the trainers. All I got was a smile.

As cool as the Hornet is, I still have a love for the Tomcat....when I was on deck, i would always watch the Tomcat launch....when it went into afterburner, it was something else.
