I've actually been downsizing things lately and trying to focus mainly on U.S. service rifles.

I did the same a few years back; I had four "Puolustuslaitos" marked M39's and two PU 91/30 snipers. All gone now, and I'm out of the 54R business. In their place is the M1 Garand - definitely not any cheaper, unfortunately.

You saved a looker, for sure.

So, what kind of price does someone like Dennis pay vs what you could sell to someone on OSA or locally? Seems like that would be like trading your car in vs selling outright.

Of course you won't get as much selling to Dennis, but if you have a large number of firearms to sell, it's a lot easier and saves time selling it all to him. I have a friend who decided to sell off about two dozen M1 Garands from his collection, and after I picked out two rifles, he sold the rest to Dennis. I was there for that sale, and the process took perhaps half an hour from start to finish. Think of how much more time and effort it'd have taken to sell these rifles one by one to various individuals, and a bulk sale becomes a lot more attractive.

Yeah, there's definitely a convenience factor.
