I've been needing a decent shooting table and have been looking at several of the online homemade examples. I decided to check Harbor Freight the other day and they had a metal sawhorse with folding and adjustable legs for $28, just what I was looking for. My buddy had a piece of wood laying around his shop and within 30 minutes I had exactly what I'd been wanting. Tested it out today and couldn't be happier with it. The adjustable legs make it perfect for the field. It has a handle so you can fold it up and carry it out. I'm going to go ahead and do some finish on the wood, even though I really don't need to. If you're looking for a decent portable shooting table I can't think of a better and cheaper method than this one.

Much better than what you had been using. I need to build one like that.

How's that Creed shooting?

Here's mine, although it's not portable like yours.

Great. Can you give me the the dimensions of the table top and thickness? Did you bolt it down recessing the heads?
The crap thing I'm using now sucks.
Total length of the table is 46 1/2 " long. The skinny part of the table is 11 1/2" wide, then at 21" inches in the width expands to 20 1/2" wide. I did recess the bolt heads.
