When the ATF has approved then how long?

My last one was approved March 10th. Stamp arrived at dealer March 18th. I was told two weeks to a month when talking to NFA call takers.

Why two weeks? I repeat my statement. The stupid .gov is in charge is why.

Oh I agree, it's ridiculous. They don't hesitate a bit to cash the check, but it took the ATF 6 months to send my paperwork to the FBI, who I'm told is the agency responsible for the approval or denial, then from there the FBI takes however long they want and doesn't tell the ATF or me what the holdup is. I'm 1 week away from 14 months right now.
I have 4 other stamps, but I guess nobody looks at that. It's all done like you're a first time applicant.
