OKCGC 3Gun Saturday July 27

Hello folks. We’ll be having a match this coming Saturday at the Oklahoma City Gun Club. Match will be held at the action pistol division. Plan on 4-5 stages. Will be rifle heavy this time since a couple guys are getting ready to shoot for USA in the IPSC world rifle shoot next month. Will have some shotty and pistol also. Sign in around 8:30, plan on shooting by 10:00. No slugs or buckshot.

We’ll be at the range Friday around 2pm to begin setup if anyone would like to stop by and check it out or lend a hand. If you’ve never shot 3gun, it’s a blast.

We had 18 shooters, shot 4 stages, it was a fun day!

Yep, 18 shooters. Nice quick match. We were done shooting and tearing down everything by 1:30pm.

We plan on having another match in August as long as it’s not going to be scorching hot. Be on the lookout for another match announcement.

Yeah, this month wasn’t on the “normal” schedule. There was an email from OKCGC that went out on Tuesday or Wednesday. Since Mr. Miller has been out of town, the new schedule has been to have a match every other month, but since we missed so many matches at the beginning of the year we wanted to get another match in.

We are tentatively planning on a match next month. So stay tuned for that announcement.

We got good feedback from the people that shot the match regarding stages. We plan on keeping them more rifle/shotgun heavy with a stage or two incorporating the pistol. Any and all feedback is appreciating welcomed.
