It's set: OU vs. LSU in the semifinals, at the Peach Bowl Dec. 28. Oklahoma had better come to play, because those Tigers are tough.

LSU is tough. Watched their game against Bana yesterday. Seemed like every other play one of the Georgia players was being carted off the field for awhile.

Lsu looks a lot like a Big 12 team to me this year. They beat Texas by the same margin as we did as well. Closer than the experts think.

Maybe, if you presume that throwing the Texas down sign is "hate" and I know that all fan bases have those few children that take it too far. I chose not to look at video of someone I do not know and automatically decide they are "waterheads" because they throw a hand sign!! Why get worked up enough to start name calling over something as silly as this!! That is what strikes my interest!!

Not worked up at all - just yanking some chains over it. And yes - it is "hate", as I know of countless OU fans that say they "hate" Texas, and every OU game I've watched this season has had fans in the stands throwing the "horns down" sign. If you're playing KU, Texas shouldn't even be on your mind.

I think the OU game may have not needed OT if Hurts didn’t seem to be trying to pad his resume at times calling his own number.
Maybe not, but it just seems that way to me.

And I think that is how Kansas State (probably shouldn't have) defeated them. I think they saw a team with a first year coach, coming off of two or three straight losses, and with a roster with a very thin resume, and figured they'd let Hurts pile up his Heisman stats on a patsy. How many times did an Oklahoma back carry the ball in that game? Like 9 or less? Klieman is too good of a coach (as is Hazleton), and they had a decent game plan, along with OU apparently overlooking them.

Yes, K-State is my team, a team full of overachievers one week, and pathetic underachievers the next. The reason I like to needle the OU faithful is that since moving to Oklahoma 28 years ago I've endured some of the most miserable fan treatment by the OU people, than any other fan base - bar none. The silence after listening to some loudmouth ahole I worked with after the 2003 Championship game was epic. This year? There is yet another (seems to be an endless supply) OU mouth hole who gives me grief every year; "how bad do you think OU is going to beat K-State?" "God, it's going to be 50 to nothing". And this guy is serious. After the loss, he wouldn't even look at me until OU beat Baylor in the first game, and then it was only to b*tch about Grinch's defense. I never gloat when my team is doing well. Why? I'm not playing the game, and I don't base my sense of worth or accomplishment on the accomplishments of a bunch of college kids. It's only entertainment. So every once in a while I like to toss a beer bottle into the OU crowd, just to get the hornets stirred up. Good luck to the team this post season, they have a good team, good coach - and miserable fan base.
