I think we have covered this a time or two but I'll play.

I carry a S&W 640 in my front pocket in what I call "modified pocket carry". Since I always wear my shirt tail out, I carry the J-frame with the grip high enough to be out of the pocket to make it easy to get a full grip on and draw with ease.

I also sometimes carry a Shield in my back pocket using a Desantis Nemesis.

I also carry a 340 m&p in a mika.
Curious to see what grips you guys have on your 340's. I have uncle mikes combat grips. They are a bit long. Im probably gonna but the stock grips back on. They let the 340 disappear a bit better.
Crimson Trace laser grips. Fit flush with bottom of the frame and that little extra rubber at the top of backstrap does wonders to cushion the web of the hand when shooting.

You're probably right, as far as pants pockets. Maybe okay in a jacket pocket though. I usually carry the P365 AIWB in a Vedder Light Tuck; it works well in that; I might oughta just leave the pocket carry role to the J-Frame.

I’ve found the jframe to be quicker out of the pocket than an auto as well. My brother is wanting to buy my 42 so maybe I’ll let it go.

I'd say 98% of the time mine is a S & W 442 no lock.......front pocket no holster.

Once in a blue moon I'll carry my Ruger LCP........also front pocket no holster.

365 fits well in a Blackhawk Size 1. You decide if you have enough pocket. I’ll carry a LCP II in a Size one with the spare mag in the holster also. Pic is an LCP but works with the II also.

Altamont Bonded Ivory grips with a BK Grip Adapter. I like this setup. It does punish your hand a bit after a few cylinders out of this gun, but oh well.
