He's listing a NRA Shotgun Instructor course in Jones this Spring, so I'm curious if anyone knows him.
I know him, usually goes by Randy, haven't had any experience with him as an instructor though. He's a OCPD officer, probably on close to 20 years or more based on his commission number. Good guy from what I know or have seen. I'm sure if you reached out to him, he'd be more than happy to talk to you. He does have a tell it like it is personality though, but so do I, so not a big deal lol.

He does, its his middle name. Not sure if its because he is an officer, as a lot of them try to diminish their online presence using their "real" name.
Many do. But I think the OP used his first name because of NRA’s class search using the instructor’s first name. “Randy” is in the additional contact info on the courses.
Since we have many mutual friends in law enforcement and shooting sports, he shows up quite a bit in my suggested friends on FB with another name variation.

But FWIW, my contact has been happy with what he attended and plans on going to at least one more. I’m 95% sure that is the shotgun instructors class he went too as well to get a credential acceptable for scouting. And my buddy has several higher level instructor classes under his belt.

I don't see where either the NRA course or the Defensive Shotgun Course is hosted at the Jones PD range. Did I miss something?
