Unlike Outdoor America the few times I've gone to Gene Sears I've never had any trouble getting waited on as a matter of fact they were on me faster than a guinea on a june bug as soon as I walked in.

I've been taken to the back a couple of times and I was in awe of their inventory......I was like a kid in a candy store. :)

One question, were you known to them or a brand new customer?

I will interject here...

I buy reloading supplies from Gene Sears, but I won’t say I am a “frequent” customer as I am certainly not known by any of them. That said, when I have gone in with a list of supplies, they have taken me to the back to walk with them as we gather my supplies. There have been times that I’ve asked for something and they respond with, “I don’t know if we’ve got that or not. Let’s go back and see what we can find.” Then they have taken me back to look around.

I’ve been in Gene Sears at least 30 times in the last 15 years. I’ve never had any issues. And like above, I have been invited back to look at particular items to compare when I had questions.

I was telling you about my first impressions about Sears and the fact they didn't care both times I was there. I will never go there again.

I went to Gene Sears when the big ammo shortage was in play. I was looking for a box of plain .38 special jacketed hollow points. They wanted $35.00 for a box of fifty. I never went back again.

I didn’t see Wilshire Gun range listed.
