Looks like we are going to have an excellent turnout! I'm really wanting to put a scope on this new CZ 455 I got, but the iron sights are very nice and I want some of you guys to get to shoot it with them, so I'll wait until next week to scope it. I am excited about this; rimfires are just plain fun to shoot and you can get a lot of trigger time for not much geets.

Wow! As of right now, we have 22 members who say they are coming, some bringing friends, wives and/or girlfriends and such too. We could easily have 25 or so people at this ENS! Here's who I have as attendees so far:

Mightymouse
xseler
dlbleak
timmy59
Catt57
CutBait
GWinOK
O4L
DavidMcMillan
rswink
CHenry
okierider
1911Sooner
scottb42
bigred1
thor447
aarondgraham
Truckdriver
GUN DOG
jstaylor
pstmstr

and me.

If I've missed someone, please let me know. This is gonna be some kinda fun! I suggest we all just buddy up and share a lane once we get there. It's going to be tight quarters in there, no doubt, but I guarantee that if you haven't been to one of our ENS things before, you will get a chance to shoot some nice rimfire guns for sure. There's plenty of guys coming who know how the drill works: We lay out our guns and ammo in our respective lanes and then those who want to give them a try belly up to the firing line behind the gun they wanna shoot and fire away. The deal is we move people to the guns, not guns to the people. Big Boys has the rule that guns stay in their lane; and people go to that lane to shoot rather then transporting firearms around once we are inside the shooting bay. It will be crowded, but we can make it work.

We are going to have a One-Shot Challenge. Actually, two of them. One for a Rimfire Rifle with a scope, and one for a Rimfire Rifle with iron sights.

The shooter gets two shots; one to get the feel of the rifle and the trigger (a practice shot) and one shot at the target for score. He (or she) who is closest wins. I'll provide the targets and volunteer my CZ 455 with Iron Sights for the iron sight category . @mightymouse; would you be so kind as to designate one rifle with a scope for the other? The winners will be announced both at the ENS and here on the forum in the after-action report.

Yes name tags with handle and name would be good. Should I go around again and take some pictures of the festivities for posting? @Cowcatcher gets a kick outta playing name that member. No posting of real names of course and if you're camera shy I can respect that too.

Yes. Youse is the Official Taker of Pictures. I'm the Official Maker of One-Shot Targets. Now who has a bunch of those cheesy name tag things we can use?

We need somebody be the Official Name Tag Guy. Volunteers please.
