I don't worry about time. In my opinion there are a zillion bullets flying around my head. One of these days one will connect when it's my time.Hurry is for those not yet retired. Or, for those retired a long time. Time - a thing running out.
All of those parts you mentioned are extremely air soluble.What? Me? Lose a small tiny part like the safety plunger spring for a G19? Or the same thing for a Kimber Micro .380? Or a thin, custom Hogue grip screw for a Sig M11-A1 for which I have no spare? Or the extractor plunger/safety detent spring for a vintage PPK/S? Or .... etc.
It has absolutely nothing to do with it. It’s normalcy; just a guy putting together a cool old gun and enjoying the work.
