My granddad had one of those 45 or 50 years ago when I was a kid. Those hooks were like a razor. Push the lever up, then press the button, out comes the blade. Thanks for the good memory!

The blade is stamped Schrade. Dunno if that knocks Camillus out or not, given the way military contracts work.

FWIW, one of my favorite pocket knives is a Camillus sailor's knife. That marlinspike is a handy little tool to have.

I could also be wrong. I'm going off memory and that was 30+ years ago and uh....what were we talking about?

I was raised in Enid under the flight path of Vance AFB. All the kids tried to get those from the Air Force kids. Had a couple back in the day. Wish I knew where one was now.
