your only 5" taller than I and I seem to have no issue with western shirts in Wrangler, Cinch, and other related brands.

you using a drop leg holster? LOL

Being as you're stature doesn't meet the topic of the thread, your opinion means squat.
If I was short I wouldn't be posting this thread.
Thanks for playing.

For you OWB carry dudes, I assume those of you who are of "average" stature can just buy "TALL" shirts and get a bit more length to help cover your OWB rig.

So have any tall dudes found a super extra tall version of nice shirts for OWB carry?
I've tried virtually every brand of tall I have found and they barely do the job for regular wearing, let alone hiding an OWB rig...so I'm looking for ideas here.
I've always IWB for this main reason but OWB sure seems it would be way more comfortable and convenient.

(FWIW I'm 5'18" tall so just *slightly* above average)
I don't carry OWB for a couple of reasons and one is that it is difficult to find shirts long enough to cover, especially since I don't like a high riding holster.

I have been getting polo type shirts from King Size but I'm not really happy with the quality.

I did run across some shirts that were four inches longer than most, on Amazon but they don't have them big enough for me. I don't remember the brand but you might look there.

Try DestinationXL. I'm only a bit over 5'14" tall, but I have a long torso and some, ahem, extra real estate, so short shirttails have been a problem for me for years (don't get me started on Van Heusen shirts that are long enough 'til that first washing). The shirts I've gotten from DXL have all had not just longer tails than others, but the button-up shirts have an extra button or two to accommodate the extra length of the shirt.

I’m assuming you’re talking about button up shirts? I’m not really the button up T-shirt kind of guy, I primarily wear dry fit T-shirts but even the 3X extra tall T-shirts I buy, they still go down far enough to cover my pistol up in the winter time but I still have a bit of a printing problem so, that’s why I don’t outside the waistband carry any more in the summertime. I pocket carry in my cargo pants I wear for work and I pocket carry in my cargo shorts for when I’m not at work.

But I posted this question over on another form that I go to occasionally about outside the waistband carry and how to make the holster and pistol blend in with my body enough to where you have to really be looking to see that I had it on my side and most of those guys recommended those light button-up Hawaiian shirts or those light Magellan brand fishing shirts you buy at Academy, the ones that you’d have to wear an undershirt under them unbuttoned so that the shirt tail is not pulling too tight around the waist, revealing the shape of your gun.

I just quit looking into that because since I found that cargo pants work great for pocket carry at work whether it’s wintertime, summertime spring or fall, I just pocket carry my pistol to the point that the only time I would carry it concealed OWB is in the winter time when I can’t wear my shorts that have the great big front pockets on them but I may have to re-look into that again because even for casual wear, outside the waistband carrying with that plastic bare arms holster that I have is still kind of uncomfortable. I found a leather holster maker that can actually custom build me a holster that will fit my EDC along with the laser sight I have on it that I’m wondering if it would be a whole lot more comfortable than the plastic kydex holster I’ve been using.
