I agree with @tRidiot, @dennishoddy ; if you wanna hold it at Ponca, get us cleared hot and set the date. Otherwise, we WILL just talk about it for who knows how long?

I'll organize a local OKC ENS for the OKC Metro at an indoor range, probably Big Boys as its a decent place and there is an abundance of good eateries close to it, to be held shortly after this LRENS for those who can't make it to the LRENS.

Well, I'd love to say I'll be there ... wherever and whenever ... but the best I can say is, "I'll try." I'm getting ready to have cataract surgery and the wife is getting ready for another back surgery. I'm afraid life is gonna' get complicated for a while!

My eye surgeon said no small caliber for 2 months and no large caliber for 6 months, threw off a whole hunting season for me. Plus, my left is now the "better" eye, so I am getting more from the off lense eye and having to work more with the on lense eye.

Almost went to try left handed bow, but I have too much muscle memory for the right side. Maybe.....

Praying for successful surgeries and quick recoveries for both of you.

That's a bummer to hear. Here's to your speedy recovery as well.

Well, crap! I guess I won't be there then, will I ?!?!?! Thanks for the info. I hadn't discussed that with the eye surgeon yet, but I know he's a shooter. I felt sure he would shut me down for a little while, but I never guessed that long! Makes me re-think renewing my membership at my local range. I might need to just let that lapse for at least a couple of months until I can get back to shooting. Maybe I need to make several trips to the range between now and my surgery!

My surgeon was not a shooter, might have had a longer window because of that, but he did shoot archery, he said that was 2 months also.

And it was a long time off, want to say I followed doctors orders, but I try not to openly lie.

Well, I will say that I will attempt to follow his orders to the best of my ability. I kinda' like my eyes. I didn't know he was a shooter until I went in for my consult, but I feel better knowing that he is.
