I was in Crest a while back and they usually only have the pre packaged Hormel ribs. That day they had what looked like locally purchased, store packaged ribs. Those were probably the best ribs I had ever had. Just the right amount of fat(very little) great flavor and I nailed the time in the smoker. Next time I see them, I’ll stock up.

Where my wife is from, they have a saying... although it doesn't translate well if you don't speak the Caribbean 'dialect'. Basically says, pigs will choose the first muddy puddle, never knowing if another bigger one will be down the road or not. It sounds a lot funnier with their accent and method of speaking, though.

Same thing with ugly people who pair up as lifemates - "every moldy bread has its cheese."

I do know Sonic is having a beef shortage. Went there tonight and there are only two burger choices, both single patty.

Well McDonalds has stripped a bunch of stuff from their menu, and not a single breakfast item on it at the ones by me. So they are evidently having a problem with pork.

My wife keeps telling me there is a meat shortage but my grocery bills ain't lightened up during this crisis. Shes got the fridge and freezer packed and we are still using Charmin from before March. All the money I saved by not eating out for last 2 months she is spending at store every chance she gets.

She’s probably skimming to buy guns that you don’t know about.

Still plenty of deer and wild pig, catfish at my house. Wife bought me a leg of lamb recently - she doesn't like sheep or goats, but knows I love it. The money from that purchase ends up back in the ME, supporting Hamas, but that's cool.
