“Stand your ground” isn't a magic phrase that transforms a use of force into a lawful use of force. This class explores the dynamics of deadly force encounters to include the reasonable man doctrine, the lawful use of force, interacting with responding officers, and more.

This class will be presented in an online format via Zoom. Participants will receive an email 30 minutes prior to the class beginning with the access information

Lee Weems combines two decades of law enforcement experience along with his education from places such as the Force Science Institute, the Law of Self Defense Instructor Program, the Massad Ayoob Group Deadly Force Instructor certification course, the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers Use of Force Instructor Training Program, and many others to create the content for this presentation.

Tuition for this class is $50.00.

No meaning to steal your thunder but several years ago I read where some kid put a notice in the "National Enquirer"-Last chance send $1.00 to PO Box.... And he got over $10,000 sent to him but when he made comments that he did so well the IRS came and wanted their share. He didn't promise anything, only said it was the "last chance" he baited the hook and they hooked themselves.

I heard once about a couple of DJ's in Florida that did essentially the same thing, with essentially the same results. They donated all the money to charity.

Bill Armstrong from MeadHall here. I know Lee, have hosted him here at my place. He isn't someone that is going to try to scam anyone. The material in the lecture portion of Stand Your Ground is valid and at the price he posted is Damn good value for the money. Carrying a firearm and having to use it is rife with potential legal issues. Lee's class is specifically about that portion. So I am clear, Lee Weems is a solid guy and his class is solid material. If you don't want to take the class, sure thing that is up to you, but he isn't trying to scam anyone. And no I don't get anything from this class, but I dislike seeing someone trying to offer up solid material being maligned

David Cagle here....several members of this forum know me from local classes with Spencer Keepers, Tom Givens, Ernest Langdon, etc.

First, I can vouch that First Person Safety is in fact a real company and Lee Weems is a real person. Now that that's out of the way...

I have taken both the in person version of this class and also Lee's Police Citizen Contacts class. If you carry a gun, this class should be a must. Obviously it isn't as glamorous as doing one handed malfunction clearances on the range....but you're far more likely to actually use the information given.
