Hello everyone. Just wondering if you have any recommendations for online gun training classes/videos covering areas such as concealed carry, home defense, etc.

I realize that in-person classes are best for many reasons, and I plan to sign up for some. However, I am out of town two weeks every month for work, which gives me lots of time in hotel rooms. I’d rather be learning good stuff, rather than just watching Netflix all the time. I know there is a lot of information on line, but some content is better than others. Just wanted to see your recommendations.

I am not new to guns. I was trained and qualified on the Beretta M9 in the military, so I have had some formal instruction. I‘ve signed up for a concealed carry class next month and I also recently bought my first AR, so I’m just looking to learn some good stuff in my extra time on the road.

I am currently reading “Deadly Force”, by Massad Ayoob and just finished “Protecting Your Homestead”, by Grant Cunningham.

Thanks for your thoughts.

I'll be self-serving and point you to this thread advertising my online Standing Your Ground class. Since you mentioned that you are currently reading Mr. Ayoob's book, I'll point out that I am a graduate of his Deadly Force Instructor course.

John Murphy of FPF Training has some great videos on his YouTube channel.

Thanks for your reply. This is exactly the type of information/class I am interested in. Unfortunately, I will be working on July 25th, so I won’t be able to participate that day. Will this class be available on your website to watch at a later time?

I will keep an eye on your website for future online classes. I also appreciate you mentioning FPF Training. I’ll be sure to check it out.
