I just saw this on MSN. Apparently, two groups of people were fighting near the Harkins Theaters and police broke it up. As the two groups were leaving the area in opposite directions, one guy fired a shot into the other group, hitting a man in his leg. Apparently, they are still looking for the shooter. Remember the last shooting at the Foot Locker in Penn Square? It's incidents like these, where you can be caught up in something you want no part of, that is one of the reasons I carry a gun.
Gotta stay alert, with your head on a swivel, to avoid being a random victim. What a crazy world we live in.

Obviously it's been awhile since we've been down there thanks to the 'Rona but the last couple times I went down to Harkins with my family, I regretted the decision. It seems that the gang types like to congregate there, as well as the homeless, and the black separatist street preachers who verbally accost white folks, trying to get a reaction. We pretty much go to Moore or the new theater in MWC....well, if they ever open up again.

Yeah, it's too bad that that kind of crap keeps people away from Bricktown in general it seems. I like the Charlestons down there and the last thing I want is some thug or "preacher" or bum accosting me before or after dinner.

Yeah, I was in Bricktown last Summer when they had a shooting outside of Harkins. I had just gotten out of the street car at the end of my brewery cruise, so I was not carrying ...

We still hit Bricktown, we just stay away from Harkins now. The new comedy club is great...and they are getting big name acts.

It was only a matter of time. This is why we can't have nice things.
