My son bought a Campark game cam for his property at the lake. He said it's going through batteries like crazy. He was back up there after only two weeks, only had five pics, and the batteries were dead. He said this a regular thing about every two weeks. He's putting DuraCells in it, so he's not scrimping on the batteries, but he's a bit tired of going through them like water. Anyone got experience with this brand of cam? (I'd never heard of them.) Or, any ideas what might be eating up the batteries? TIA.

I’ve never heard of that brand either. I went to lithium batteries. Buy them in bulk on the net and most cams will run for the season. Not cheap but I get much better life out of them.

I've never heard of them. I just picked up a tacticam reveal (cell cam) and it's been really good so far. No complaints for $99 at all.

Never heard of the camera brand. Is it cellular or not? I have never heard of a camera using up batteries that fast. Energizer Ultimate Lithium will last about 3 months in my cellular cams with instant upload of pics. I get 6-9 months on regular game cams using Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries.

I actually just ordered 2. Haven't heard or read a bad thing about them. Was gonna order 2 more coverts but they've been out of stock. Hopefully they are dependable because the price is awesome!

I've had it out for a week and I haven't had any issues. They do take 12 AA batteries but so far, with instant send, I'm still at 100%. It gets better service than my cell phone does which is a huge plus.

Thanks, all. I don't believe it is cell capable, or he'd have said so. He found it on Amazon ... not the cheapest and certainly not high dollar. I think he got it on sale for about $80.
