What gun parts or accessories would you build if you had a machine shop?

Any little quirks, gripes, tirades on your guns you don't like? Accessories that don't work?
If you had the access to and knowledge to a machine shop - gunsmith shop what would you build to fix or improve your guns? Any special tools you would build? Accessories for the AR platform?

I use to be a machinist a long time ago in my Navy life. If I had access to and owned all the lathes, mills and grinders I know exactly what I’d do. I’d be a class 3-10 or what ever the number is machine gun and silencer manufacturer. I know it would sure be handy to have all that equipment accessible again. Every time something breaks or you think of something you could just run out to the shop and make it

I've got a little cheap mill and I'm looking for a lathe. At my just retired from job, I did some machine work. Lately I've spent most of my time building parts for my event car.

I have three lathes at home. One Delta for wood, another South Bend set up as a milling machine, and another Atlas for whatever.
Never had a lot of gun things I've needed to work on with them.
Files, sandpaper and some elbow grease typically works for gun projects.
