But will the gun run with one? (any RDS)

It's a very short video, using the dovetail red dot mount.

In no means a torture test, but he functioned 9 rounds out of 10 with the additional weight, which surprised the hell out of me because of aforementioned weight on the slide issues from earlier in this thread

Exactly. If you could find different springs I might think it could be done.

A lighter spring would help to allow a heavier slide assembly to recoil back, but at a loss of spring pressure to completely feed the new round. The spring rate on the G44 is very similar if not identical to the rate of a G19 spring.

Historically, full cycling slide 22s, have reliability issues that exceed what I have seen out of my G44s.

I know it is a pretty delicate balance.

Shot my Glock 44 Saturday afternoon -- 100 rounds suppressed using Geco Semi-Auto ammunition -- Flawless(probably jinxed myself).

Whenever I have the opportunity at the range, I’ll asked other members of the club, if they would like to shoot my suppressed Glock 44 -- Different shooters -- Different ammunition -- Federal Auto-Match, Remington Golden Bullet; Geco Semi Auto; Federal Bulk; CCI. Pretty impressive how reliable the Glock shoots and functions.

I really like mine !!!!!!

I bought a Glock 44 a couple of weeks ago and have had no real problems with reliability with any bulk ammo I have used. I've had 3 stovepipes out of about 500 rounds and all of those were with Blazer 40 grain.

I do however seem to have the same problem with sighting at 15 yards. With my rear sight adjusted as low as it will go, my shots are consistently 2 to 3 inches higher than my POA. Not sure there is anything I can really do with it other than adjust my POA which should not happen with adjustable sights. I guess I might look at changing the front sight height to try to fix it.
