We caught 30 or so in a few days of fishing in Mineral Co, CO. Most 8 to 10 in browns and brooks, but my son caught this 16.5 in rainbow on the last day. In the rain.

We mainly fish the smaller creeks that feed into the Rio Grande. They will hit just about any fly that is presented well.

Well done! That’s a great trout. Congrats to your son on the catch.

Guess Fall is actually hitting early this year. The fish seem to have their feed bag on right now. Managed to pull a few dozen this week so far in my neck of the woods. Mostly bass, couple channels, one feisty hybrid. If you're not fishing, you should be. Shallow shad cranks and buzz baits.

Yep, the hump at Ponca Cove on Kaw is hot now. Limits of sandbass, and hybrids are being caught.
Unfortunately my freezer has all the fish it can legally hold and deer season is coming so food plot prep is a priority.
