I dunno how I missed your latest post! That is WAY cool!! You are KILLING IT!

Have a couple few broccoli, romaine lettuce, good many carrots, radish and beets in the greenhouse.. There's likely still 2 gallons of cheery maters out in the beds along with a good handful of assorted peppers.. Lack of peat has put the hurt on putting on more pots..

The chickens found a way outta the coop and ate my spinach sprouts. ALL of them. Little stinkers!! I'll plant some more seeds inside and then transplant them in between cold snaps. I need to get some wood and plastic and build me a little top to make a frame outta it.

Edmond is so weird you can not even have chickens.

Can not or not supposed to ? A person should be able to pull off a few hens providing they didn't have any "Richard" neighbors .. I had 100's of lbs of snakes and a sizable rodent colony in town for about 8 years and never got popped..
Every weekend I put 50+ lbs of chips and turds from the rodent colony to the curb, hauled feed in and rodents to the snakes.. Neighbors none the wiser.. :pms2: If they knew they might have been afraid to narc..

We've been feeding the spinach, swiss chard and the outside cabbage leaves to the chickens. January and they're eating fresh greens.
The kids and grand kids visited yesterday, took the little girls out to the greenhouse 4-5 y/o and had them pull carrots. They had a grand ole time. They brought into they're mom carrots, 1 bunch of celery and a head of cabbage.
