I have worked for CCW Safe for 3.5 years now. If you have questions let me know. Our coverage is pretty simple. I don't always get notifications from OSA so email me at [email protected] or call my cell 405-740-7952

All plans cover 100% of defense costs including investigators and expert witnesses. Our bond coverage starts at cost of bonds set to $500k.

We have 2 basic plans the Defender and the Protector. They are the same plan but Protector is discounted for active retired LE or Military and veterans.

Then we have 3 options.
Spouse $100 a year (spouse and minor children are covered for incidents occurring in the home at no extra).
$1m bond upgrade $50. Doubles the bond coverage to fees on bonds set up to $1m
$1m dedicated civil liability $220. Covers civil judgement or damage awards up to $1m

Then we have 2 bundled plans
The Ultimate. It is the basic plan plus spouse $100 - plus bond upgrade for member $50 and Spouse $50 - plus civil liability for the primary member $220. Bought separately that is $569 with Protector $599 with Defender. It is discounted to $499 and special benefits are added. Civil liability can be added for spouse for $220.

The HR218. Covers those defined as qualified law enforcement officers under LEOSA. It is the Protector plus bond upgrade and civil liability. $399

Do your research. All the companies in this industry do what they say they will do. Some just do more.

We don't have occurrence limits on defense costs.
We pick the attorney or let our members. Attorney must have self defense experience.
We don't charge extra for multi state coverage
We don't charge a set up fee.
We don't charge extra to have bond coverage. Or expert witness. Or investigators.
We have an actual response team that responds to critical incidents. I run the team.
And we are the only company in the industry to have defended a member charged with murder from incident to trial.
Plus we are OK based. Based in OKC.

I've been a CCW SAFE member for almost 4 years, and I am remarkably happy. The coverage amounts are more than plentiful, the pricing is reasonable, and their customer service is phenomenal (I've not had any covered incidents, but I speak to customer service reps each time I renew, and they are great). Enrollment is quick and simple. I can't find a single thing to complain about...

I know I'm a little late to the party, but I just signed up for U.S. Law Shield at tonight's OK2A Tulsa chapter meeting. I like that I can pay monthly and just add on the extras I need or can afford at this time. There's three reasons I went with them, though. First, there's no limit on the coverage available (unlike some of the plans out there.) Second, they'll cover you for any incident of self-defense, not just a firearms related one. Should I have to defend myself by beating someone with my cane, I'm covered (as long as it was legitimate self defense.) They also don't differentiate between a SDA card holder and a Constitutional Carrier. Third, I can call at any time, 24/7/365, and they'll dispatch a lawyer to take my case. I know some want to choose their own lawyer but I don't know any lawyers, so having one vetted by U.S. Law Shield means I'll get one who will know how to handle my case. That's why I chose it. YMMV

We chose to go with USCCA (Platinum Level) because of the tremendous network of local defense attorneys that are available on a moment's notice and the depth of the expert witness staff backing them up. The training support is second to none and I know first hand that a phone call at 0300 in the morning is answered immediately by a live, trained and professional eager to get us the help we need when we need it most.
