I added tea lights and a foil back to the owl and cat's eyes.

Moved the truck box to the new ride. Decided to pull out the interior I made a couple years ago to make some modifications. snapped this pic to help remember where all the parts go. Nothing is screwed in all friction fit in dado’s. There are a couple sliding trays that are not in the picture

nice welds. What type of welding rig are you using, stick, mig, or tig? And how big is your shop?? I’m jealous...

I migged these. I’ve got stick and tig capability also but the mig gets the most use. I’m pretty sure the shop is 40’x80’.

Twice the size of my shop! Are you using a gas with mig, or flux core? I use the latter for convenience, but my welds don’t look as neat as yours.

I run gas. A bottle will last quite a good while if you set your regulator properly and remember to turn the bottle off when you finish. Running gas definitely makes a cleaner prettier weld. I dunno that it’s any stronger.

This is one reason why I use flux core ;) My welds ain’t pretty, but they generally do hold. Recently I welded two pieces of 1/4” thick flat bar steel at 90 degrees, but realized one of the pieces needed to be bent a few degrees. Couldn’t do it with a vise and a hand sledge applied vigorously.

These welds holding “purlin tabs” on top of truss were done with same machine settings but 2 different gun angle and trigger fanger technique.
