Ok, I think I have everyone written down. Here's what I have so far. Let me know if I missed you and I'll get your info added to the list.

Dumpstick - 200
skyhawk1 - 150
swapratt - 300
need1more - 200
GUN DOG - 200 to 300
Norman - 200 to 300
Eking - 100
Kendall - ~500+

I was at the shop at closing tonight discussing this with James (the owner). He'll be getting the price per pound finalized tomorrow and will let me know. Once that's set, we just have to finish cleaning up the rest of the lead on the range. It's a bit of a process, because we take apart the back stop of the range and do maintenance at that time, so it'll be a few days before they can get that done. Once the lead is all collected, and I've been able to confirm your orders with each of you, I'll give your info to James and he will have your orders ready for you to pick up.

If anyone needs assistance, I am able to help. If any of your are further away, or have special circumstances like @skyhawk1 described, I'm more than willing to arrange for payment through me to the gun shop, and I'll hold on to your lead until we can meet up, or get it delivered to you.

Thanks.

P.S. I think I'm going to have to start casting bullets after this! It feels weird coordinating this whole thing without actually buying any lead for myself!

Steelfingers. 200lbs

I've got you added. It'll depend on how much lead it ends up being. Estimate now from James is around 1650 pounds. There's a lot of orders in so it'll depend on how much the final weight is.

Dumpstick - 200
skyhawk1 - 150
swapratt - 300
need1more - 200
GUN DOG - 200 to 300
Norman - 200 to 300
Eking - 100
Kendall - ~500+
akgriffin - 100
steelfingers - 200

This list is in the order which people have made requests.

Work was hectic today, and I never got a chance to call James to get the final price per pound settled. I texted him this evening and he told me that he was slammed from opening to close today at the shop. Per his message to me, he said that he'd be calling the scrap yard on his way to work tomorrow AM, and will get the current scrap price. That'll end up being the price he sells his range lead to us for. Once I hear from him, I'll update the thread.

Thanks.

i never read where this is located at to come pick up...im thinking of 100 lbs.
The lead will be at American Armory & Tactical in Norman, OK. The official price per pound will hopefully be set tomorrow. I'm going to go by the shop tomorrow evening and try to determine when exactly they'll be taking down the range for maintenance and final lead collection. I plan on coming in to help. We'll get all of the lead gathered and get an exact weight. Once that has happened, I'll contact everyone on the list, starting from the top down (it is in the order of who requested lead first) to confirm that they still want to proceed. Once orders are confirmed, your name will be provided to James and they'll get your lead weighed out and you can pay & pick it up from that shop directly from James.

As I stated in an earlier post, if you are further out and cannot easily get to Norman, you can make payment arrangements through me, and I'll pay for your lead and hold it at my home in Newcastle until you have an opportunity to travel here.

Thanks.

I’ve been watching this thread and I’m not on the list for lead (I’m in good shape right now), but I think everyone would say “thanks” for your efforts to organize this group buy. [emoji122]

Hey there thor447,
Is it too late to add my name to the list for some lead?

If the final price is around what you mentioned and it’s not too late I’d take 200 lbs.
Thanks hunter966

Depending on the final price I would be in for 200lbs. I've been looking for a way to make compact winter weights for the truck. :D

I've got you both on the list. If there is any left by the time prior orders are confirmed, you'll be next in line.

Dumpstick - 200
skyhawk1 - 150
swapratt - 300
need1more - 200
GUN DOG - 200 to 300
Norman - 200 to 300
Eking - 100
Kendall - ~500+
akgriffin - 100

Thank you very much. It's cool to have the chance to get in on it but if the numbers don't work I get it.
Thank you for the chance
