I was looking through the thread and someone asked about the Sig P938-22

I actually bought a used one a few years ago; I bought this model off an individual:

https://www.americanrifleman.org/articles/2014/1/15/sig-sauer-p938-22/

It came with the Rosewood grips and the 3.3 inch barrel and SigLite night sights -- couldn’t pass this deal up.

CDNN had the 4.1 inch long slide conversion kit so I bought that kit (Sig was closing them out; guess CDNN bought their stock)

Found some Extreme grips locally (someone wanted $15). This is what I ended up with:

All of my Sig conversion kits have been pretty flawless ( I have Sig Sauer factory kits for the P220; P226; P229 & P938) as I posted above when I bought the actual P938 - 22 it came with the 3.3 inch barrel -- They all run with different ammunition -- The Kimber .22lr conversion kits I have, will not cycle with the Geco Semi Auto ammunition. Everything else I have seems to own works well with Geco -- I posted in another thread, the P938 -22lr and .22lr conversion kits are getting harder to find (even harder than the .22lr ammunition).

LCP-II 22lr is hard to beat w/ 10+1 and fits in pocket, and has a safety. Ruger doesn't recommend carrying one in the chamber for the .380 LCP-II because it is single action and has no safety. The original LCP .380 was much safer w/ the DAO trigger.

If you are planning for self-defense, in the short barrels, the round nose is king...the stingers have less weight and not enough velocity to penetrate & expand...great for hunting rabbits from a 10/22, but stick to round nose CCI mini-mags for 22 pistols; it feeds better too.

I have a Beretta 21a that is often in my pocket. My daughter now has a Taurus PT-22 that she loves. I have tried to like the Taurus, but it just doesn't match my 21a. Another vote for the mini-mags,

Walther PPKs 22 LR Pistol Review

So much misinformation in this review. These "new" ppk/s pistols are not in any way the same as those made by Ulm or St. Ettienne back in the day. The only thing that is equal is pretty much the look of the gun; internally totally different. Anyone buying one of these who thinks they are getting a "real" ppk/s is mistaken. The gun also sports a Zamak slide; not even steel. Trash; garbage; fake.

I bought an I.O. Hellcat, it's a .380 ut very light and much thinner than most .22 handguns=plus, it doesn't print much in my back pocket. However, I also have Bobcat and I would trust it's dependability against the I.O.

For some unknown reason, I have developed a "want" for a .22lr pocket pistol. Been looking at the Beretta Model 21 Bobcat and the Ruger LCP in .22lr mostly. Your opinions on either of these, or perhaps another perhaps are appreciated. The only thing I am talking aboiut is true pocket guns. I don't need an another M&P .22 Compact or PPK/S or Ruger MKIV; I want a teeny-tiny-itsy-bitsy-pocket-pistola.
They don't get any pocketier than the Jennings J-22... if ya can find one. They are all-steel.
