These girls are made, it seems, of sterner stuff than this wuss. Remember him?

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/new-york-daily-news-journalist-firing-an-ar-15-gave-me-ptsd#:~:text=Firing an AR-15,with post-traumatic stress disorder.

This magnificent specimen of manhood claimed that shooting an AR15 gave him PTSD.
I remember that. Just the experience traumatized him for the rest of his life.
I've taught several "welcome to firearms" class to ladies with pistols as part of Women on Target program. I always introduce the AR platform into the class on purpose. I display a Remington 742 Semi auto 30-06 and then an AR.
Ask them if any of one of them scares them. A few always say the AR. They are exactly the same platform, gas operated but the esthetics of the evil black rifle vs the highly polished walnut and blued steel of the 742 makes the difference.
When letting them shoot the AR, a smile always appears.
