Bought this the other day cause it seemed like a good buy. I think it is a really early Puma hunter. Any thoughts as to its age would be helpful.

They are nice knives but I have never understood why they did not glue or epoxy the slabs on. Rust happens when they are not taken care of or kept dry.
They started making these way before epoxy also if you love your knife never store in sheath most the rusted ones are caused by that never saw a puma that rusted under handle maby it stored outside.

These were being made well before epoxy . also if you love your knife never store in sheath. most you see are because of that. never seen one rust under handle unless you kept it outside
