Oh man, that makes it a tough decision then. I would probably ask the buddy which one he likes the best and go with that one!
That won't work either, except for the BAR 22, there are several of each and he hasn't shot any but a Marlin 39A. BTW, I have 6 of these 39A Original Golden's NIB.

I am 51, and have had a BLR 22 for 44 years.

It went a jillion miles with me roaming the woods as a kid in Cherokee county.

I wish I knew how many thousand rounds I've put through it.

A great gun.

The first gun I bought was a Browning BLR Grade II. Still have it and it is my first choice when taking a
22 out.

The Win XTR are crazy priced any of no interest because of that


You don't list Henry. A very good option and worth consideration.

Which did you go with? I’d have tried to buy them all.
