I bought a couple of 18 round Pro Mags for my G44. Haven't tried them out yet will this week put man they sure have stiff springs and are hard to load compare to the Glock mags.

I was glad to see that he said he was shooting 3 inches above POA at 15 yards, with the sights in the lowest position. Pretty much the exact same results as I got. Wonder why Glock has not recognized this as a chronic issue with this gun and addressed it.

I went and shot my Glock 44 today -- I use steel spinning targets -- the Gun Club want you to place them at the 25 yards target line. When I use Federal Auto Match, I place the sights at center mass -- With the Geco Semi-Auto I put the sights at the 6:00 position (target on top of the sight picture).

Pretty accurate for me. I haven’t adjusted the sights, since I bought it.

I also found some Winchester Wildcat .22lr -- about like the Auto Match.

When I bought my Glock 44 and shot it from a rest, it was shooting a couple of inches left and high at 7 yards. I made a 360 adjustment on the windage screw and now it shoots dead center on windage, and moved the height to the lowest position it will allow. That brought the POA down to center at 7 yards, but it still is shooting high at 15 yards so I am aiming a couple of inches under center at that distance to get pretty well centered hits.

I did just stumble on some Winchester Wildcat ammo at a good price so I bought 1500 rounds of it. Never have shot it before so I'm hoping it will go thru the G44 OK. I'll give it a try next week when I go do my weekly shoot.

6.83 a box.

Shot some of these thru my Suppressed Glock 44, Saturday -- Super loud. Not as accurate as Auto Match, CCI or Geco.

I was at the Cabela’s in Edmond today -- Long drive through Oklahoma today -- Scored 1; 100 round box of Winchester; Super Suppressed Subsonic 45 grain .22LR ammunition.

This isn’t ordinary Suppressed ammunition, but SUPER Suppressed ( I really don’t know, what that means) !!!!!!

The salesman told me he put 9 boxes out this morning !!!!!

Ran this box, not as loud as the Wildcat -- About the same as Geco and Auto Match -- Had some CCI Suppressed that was quieter. 45 grain bullet wasn’t as accurate.

Don’t know how scientific my results are, might be the batch of ammunition I shot; I also believe it might be operator error -- I have some CCI seconds I bought last year, they seemed to work really well. As long as I have a supply of .22lr to shoot -- Life is great !!!!!!@

Since the price and availability of ammo the last few months has been terrible, I’ve been “forced” to dust off the G44 I got last year. Thought I’d share my experience so far. Overall I like the pistol, and would buy it again if doing it all over again. I’ve tried 14 different 22LR rounds through it.

Federal 22cal LR 40gr 1240fps 100rds, 44FTE (yes, 44 failures)
Remington 22 Cyclone 36gr 1280fps 50rds, 0-malfunctions
Remington 22 Golden bullet 36gr 1280fps 50rds, 1FTF, 1FTE
Remington Target standard velocity 40gr 1150fps 50rds, 0-malfunctions
Remington Thunderbolt 40gr 1255fps 600rds, 2FTE

So 13 various ammo types for total of 1325rds had 11 failures (10-FTE, and 1-FTF), and the 14th ammo type (Federal 40gr 1240fps), had 44-FTE.
Find what your g44 likes and have fun, since $1 a round for the centerfire calibers isn’t much fun

My son has a g44 and its had thousands of rounds through it. It has the occasional hiccup like every 22LR I have ever owned. The gun is my favorite 22lr hands down.
