I should have known better. Now this song and dance has turned into a full on Broadway production and is going to end up costing almost as much in the end...

Thanks for the advice,
You bet. I have built out a half dozen or so ARs over the years. My absolute favorite one I have about $700 in (excluding SBR stamp and optic). That is only because I bought / traded for used or take-off parts. I added up what it would have cost me if I bought everything at retail easily would have been over $1600. But it’s all high-end parts, very specific to what I was wanting. It only took about 2-3 months to find what I was looking for on a bargain

I just moved, I had so much crap sitting around that I never use. So I took the liberty to declutter the house to boost my gun fund. Like an old bike and my table saw. Both took up a ton of room in the garage, and hadn’t been used in probably 4 years. Sold them - boom - there is my trigger and handguard. Wife is just happy I got rid of the junk in the garage. 3 birds 1 stone.

Just a general FYI...Out of curiosity I contacted 17 Design to see if there was a good way to remove the white color fill in on their receivers. Their response...Use a Sharpie. [emoji1]
