Just picked up a sweeeeet Gen 5 Glock 26 and have decided its high time to stop being so lazy about CC.

Up until now i usually keep a pistol in the vehicle with me...maybe would stick a G43 in my pocket (rarely). But Ill be honest...i have been getting pretty paranoid lately: People are crazier than ever...and there are more new gun owners than ever...

So anyway how do you position your CCW? appendix, strong side hip, what?

Seems like appendix has the faster draw but im worried about shooting myself and its only comfortable if standing IMO. Hip is probably going to be the way just for overall comfort and still a good draw. I could see ankle as an ok spot (not for this gun) but the draw is slow...for sure wouldn't be a bad backup location if you are real serious about it.

anywho please discuss my OKSians.

I have tried everything including ankle, weak side Dirty Harry shoulder holster, crossdraw, small of back like Magnum, upside down elastic band shoulder holster, shoulder holster like Miami Vice, Inside waistband, outside waistband. pocket, and ainnofrikkinway AIWB. My favorite is the old 3 to 4 o'clock outside waistband. I'm using a trick from the old days. Velcro underbelt and overbelt. Easy on, easy off, secure and easy to conceal with shirt or coat but sounds funny as hell in a restaurant men's room.
