22LR Matches

Anyone know of any .22LR matches nearby?

I'm gathering the stuff for a .22LR build based on an Anschutz 1761 (of which I will post comments and pictures as I put it together) but I'd like to actually shoot it somewhere other than statically at SCRAP.

Wilshire gun range has a “just for fun” Rimfire pistol match every month and the description says they will have a rifle match coming soon.
That’s not a lot of help to you right now but something to maybe look out for!
I bought an Anschutz .22 mag from a gent here a little while ago. Sweet rifle! Amazing trigger. Likely more accurate than I will ever be.

With the Anschutz I'm thinking your looking for precision matches, not speed shooting like steel challenge?

At the Stillwater range they have precision rimfire matches. I've never been, but I'm hoping to eventually.

I bought an Anschutz .22 mag from a gent here a little while ago. Sweet rifle! Amazing trigger. Likely more accurate than I will ever be.

Being left handed the selections are not plentiful and I went with Anschutz as a base gun for several reasons including their reputation for both accuracy and dependability.

I thought about doing a Vudoo Custom (https://vudoogunworks.com/rifles/) but their chambers are specifically cut for the Lapua profile ammunition which is very difficult to get right now. I also looked at the Bergara B-14R Carbon (https://www.bergara.online/us/) but despite what their website says, they're not yet available in left handed.

The downside of the Annie is that you can only get 5-round magazines for it and most stages run in the 10-round variety

Red castle will start sillywett matches the 3rd Saturday in April . Open to all , contact match director for a gate code , to enter thru Jink ranch .

I have a really nice 10/22 takedown (my last project gun) for SC and other really fun type matches and I'm looking forward to this years matches.

The OKC gun club as well as the Ponca City gun club have steel challenge matches on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month respectively. Semi Auto rules which is my question about the Anschutz. \
If you can't find them online, give me a PM and I will get you the match directors email or a way to contact them.
