:rubhands: The meatbird flock is such that we can sell a pair or possible trio.. Hatch your own food, for the low price of $250.00 a pair or $350.00 for the trio.. :ooh2:

The 10 meat bird hens are laying up a storm even in this weather about 8 eggs a day.. The hens are coming in at 8 plus lbs.. HEAVY, roosters over 12 lbs.. Compare to your dual purpose birds.. Egg's are currently not fertile but as days warm they should become fertile.. As soon as I candle fertile eggs we'll be good to go. If any good members here @Cowcatcher @swampratt @THAT Gurl want eggs to hatch I'll fix ya'll up for 2 bucks a dozen.. I wrote up my best sales pitch and put it on CL..

Have you hatched these from parent birds to be sure they produce a better dual purpose bird and are self sustaining? A plain jane dual purpose bird is really good enough for me as a meat bird. Cooking those jumbos are a pain to get evenly cooked. I wind up cutting them up into smaller portions. But I would be willing to get some hatching eggs.

I took the 1st 19 I had and put them in compost and upon breaking them found they were fertile so now going to put a load in the incubator Sunday, somewhere between 48-60.. The guys at work want fresh chicken so we'll have a small butcher party and those partaking will haul home chicken that they dispatched and cleaned themselves.. So by end of May we'll have results to share..
