Is it information about guns you're looking for?

Gun control is two hands on a 44 Magnum.

I already have a XDM 4.5 9mm and a shockwave 12 now I am looking for a long range (about 500 yards) bolt action repeater. I want to have around a 1 to 1.5 MOA accuracy.
So, the answer is not a glock.

Do you have a caliber choice?

Are you hunting or plinking?

Oh, and welcome aboard.

Most out of the box factory rifles will perform at that level( assuming your talking at 100, and utilizing “quality ammunition”. More expensive doesn’t always equate “better” (unless your listening to those selling the higher priced equipment, then you can expect to be bombarded by the most illogical jargon known to man, outside of gun control circles) I have seen barreled actions bolted to 2x4 boards that will outshoot a great number of expensive rifles.
Don’t chase numbers, true accuracy begins with repeatability.
Each shot is a close to the previous as humanly possible.
500 is a long stretch to jump from 0.
Here is the free advise, choose something with a good barrel life, 30 cal comes to mind
Spend most of your budget on glass (that is way way harder to choose than the rifle/caliber to get the best value. Spend the rest on ammo and practice. Start in the 100-300 range, then work your way out, you might save yourself a load of frustration.
I have advised many to begin with a humble 22 and some really good glass, try shooting one of those for groups at 200.

Wind..............still looking for help with that one

Good luck, welcome! This really is a fascinating hobby and there are a lot of great folks here, try not to feed the trolls and may you receive many a post 12 on your birthday!
